A CYCLIST was rushed to hospital after a hit and run in Latchford last night.
The 26-year-old was involved in a collision with two motorbikes on Knutsford Road shortly before 7pm yesterday, Tuesday.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening but both bikers fled the scene after the incident, near to the junction with Brook Place.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “At 6.50pm on Tuesday, November 17, officers were called to reports of a collision on Knutsford Road near to the junction of Brook Place.
“Police and paramedics attended the scene and found that a peddle cyclist had been involved in a collision with two motorcyclists – the two motorbikes failed to stop at the scene.
“The cyclist, a 26-year-old local man, was taken to hospital by paramedics.
“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
