"IT has been a very busy year for our club and through all the good work of our Lions we have been able to help many good causes."
That was the message from Warrington club president Syd Walker when he spoke at the 39th Lions Charter Dinner at Paddington House Hotel.
As people sat down for a three-course meal, the Lion president also said the group had enhanced its motto, We serve'.
Among many projects in 2007, Warrington Lions helped to provide an oxygen saturation monitor for premature babies and helped fund a holiday for children with special needs in Warrington.
