THREE fire crews were called to put out a house fire in Orford this morning.
Shortly before 8am firefighters were called to reports of people trapped following a house fire on Howson Road, Warrington.
Crews from Warrington, Birchwood and Stockton Heath were sent to the scene and on arrival they found a fire in the ground floor of a house.
Two firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, entered the building and rescued one person from the first floor of the building who was then looked after by paramedics.
Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire before using a large fan to clear the smoke from the address.
