WARRINGTON Town's scheduled trip to Morpeth Town next Tuesday has been postponed due to a positive Covid-19 test.
Morpeth released a statement this afternoon confirming one of their players had tested positive and as a result, the club have halted all footballing activities for the next 14 days.
This includes their game against Yellows at Craik Park on October 13 as well as games against Buxton and FC United of Manchester.
The player in question was part of Morpeth's squad for their FA Cup match with Southport on Saturday and thus everyone who travelled on the team bus that day will now self-isolate.
Yellows were due to play this fixture on Saturday but Morpeth's involvement in the FA Cup forced a postponement, meaning Town faced Whitby at Cantilever Park instead.
A new date for the fixture is yet to be confirmed
