CHAPELFORD Farm has unveiled the latest innovation to keep families coming to the pub restaurant during the pandemic and restrictions.

After a three-week project, the Greene King venue in Santa Rosa Boulevard has created five heated huts in its newly refurbished beer garden.

The all-weather huts are to make dining out more safe and convenient for families and their support bubbles in the Covid-19 era.

Vini Kneale, who has run Chapelford Farm for five years with his wife Lucy, said: "When it’s dark and it’s all lit up by the festoon lighting they look amazing.

"We wanted something outside that was totally different to what anyone else has got.

"As well as the huts we’ve got benches and other outdoor furniture and a covered area that’s all lit and heated. We’ve also replanted the borders. It’s stunning.

Warrington Guardian:

"It’s nice that we’ve now got somewhere which is covered and heated as we know some people don’t want to be inside the pub where they might feel at risk.

"They can order on the app and everything just gets brought out."

Vini also praised Greene King for the 'massive investment' in challenging times.

He added :"Because we’re part of one of the biggest pub companies in the world the money they have invested in the team has been second to none.

"They’ve made us safe and the guests safe and all of our team has gone through covid training.

"We’ve not served a drink across the bar since we’ve reopened. It’s all been table service. There have been some massive changes to the team but service-wise it is a lot better for the guests.

"It’s just hard that we can’t have guests come up for the carvery but that’s what you’ve got to do. You’ve got to keep everyone safe."
