A PLAY area in Padgate has been set on fire again by arsonists for the second night in a row.
Play equipment in the park off Lysander Drive was first torched on Saturday night, with firefighters spending more than half an hour tackling the blaze.
This was strongly condemned by Guardian readers, who called for greater police patrols and the installation of CCTV to prevent it from happening again.
But the play area was targeted again last night, Sunday, shortly after 10pm.
The crew from Warrington Fire Station was called to Lysander Drive following reports of the fire and found play equipment to be well alight on arrival.
