A SUSPECTED drink driver has been charged after a car crashed into a garden fence last night.
Police were called to a collision involving one vehicle, a white Mercedes, on Birchfield Road in Lymm at around 11pm on Tuesday, September 22.
Officers arrested a 53-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of drink driving.
Martin Price, of nearby Cedarfield Road, has since been charged with this offence.
He is due to appear before Warrington Magistrates Court next month in order to face this charge and has been released on bail until this date.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “At 11pm on Tuesday, September 22, police were called to a one-vehicle collision on Birchfield Road in Lymm.
“The collision involved a white Mercedes car colliding with a fence – a 53-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving and has subsequently been charged."
