WARRINGTON and Vale Royal College is the latest site in the borough to confirm positive coronavirus cases.
The college, based on Winwick Road, is reassuring students that it is still open for anyone who has not been in close contact with those who have tested positive.
In a message to students on the college's website, Nichola Newton, principal and chief executive, said: "The college now has confirmed cases of Covid-19.
"Following Public Health England advice, learners and teachers affected by these occurrences have been informed.
"Unless you have been notified, you have not been identified as a close contact of those who have tested positive for Covid-19.
"If you have not been identified as a close contact, you do not need to make any change to your usual routine, including college attendance.
"The college will continue to consult with Public Health England, following their guidance, as the pandemic takes its course to keep everyone safe.
"Please continue to follow the government guidance."
