A YOUTH stole a motorbike worth thousands of pounds during a burglary.
The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, targeted the garage of a home on Mortimer Avenue in Orford during a break-in in May.
He stole a Yamaha Thunder Ace bike worth approximately £2,750 from the property.
Appearing at Warrington Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 23, the teenager – from Warrington – admitted burglary.
Magistrates handed the teen an eight-month youth rehabilitation order and told him to pay £500 in compensation.
