MORRISONS Warrington is urging customers to donate to their chosen cancer charity which has been hit hard by coronavirus.
Staff at the store in Greenall's Avenue have desperately been trying to raise much-needed funds for Clic Sargent, a cancer charity for young people and their families.
It helps those affected by cancer by providing day to day support, financial support, homes close to hospitals and bereavement support.
Jenny Bloor, Morrisons community champion, said: "Our main charity is Clic Sargent.
"A few times through the year we do fundraising events to raise money for them - we have done a bake sale for staff, and we have also done a raffle.
"But, due to Covid-19, there isn’t much we are allowed to do, so Morrisons has worked with Clic Sargent and have decided to do a JustGiving page.
"I’m trying to raise as much awareness for this as I can.
"I know, like so many charities, Covid-19 has really hit them hard.
"Cancer is in so many of our hearts and I just want to spread the word - cancer hasn’t stopped because of coronavirus."
