LIVE performances in Old Market Place are proving to be a hit with Golden Square shoppers this summer.
Every weekend until August 30, Warrington-based musicians are showcasing their talent to those in the town centre.
The entertainment has been made possible thanks to a collaboration between the shopping centre and Vintage Viola.
Ian Cox, Golden Square Shopping Centre director, said: "We are thrilled with how Live in the Square went at the weekend.
"There was a great upbeat vibe on both days, with many of our shoppers taking the opportunity to enjoy the variety of talented musicians we had playing.
"In fact, we have had such good feedback, not only from visitors but our retailers too, that we are now looking to expand our events offering even further, with particular focus on evenings.
"I would like to also take this opportunity to thank the community for adhering to the social distancing rules, and being mindful of others, while still making the most of the excellent live entertainment."
Sharon Dunne, owner of Vintage Viola, added: "The acts at the weekend were tremendous and really pulled a crowd.
"We had a lot of really positive feedback from the bars and pop-up eateries, who also benefited from so many visitors to the event.
"A big thank you to everyone who donated items at our Rainbow Caravan - these will go a long way in helping us to maintain stock at our Vintage Viola store so keep them coming.
"It's looking like it’s going to be a great summer at Golden Square."
All donations to the Vintage Viola caravan will be kept in isolation for 72 hours as per government guidance.
Clean, sellable clothing and accessories, for adults only, will be accepted on the day.
