A FRAUDSTER who stole more than £3,000 from his mum has been ordered to carry out community service.
Thomas Seddon, from Great Sankey, used his mother’s debit card to buy goods worth a total of £3,275 between December 2019 and January this year.
The 26-year-old admitted fraud at Warrington Magistrates Court on Friday, July 17, and was handed an 18-month community order – including 80 hours of unpaid work, a 35-day rehabilitation activity requirement and a 21-day thinking skills programme.
Magistrates heard that Seddon, of Norbreck Close, is now voluntarily paying the money back to his mum.
But he was also told to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs.
