WARRINGTON Wolves fans have been reacting to the club’s sensational signing of rugby league superstar Greg Inglis.

The Wire have secured a major coup by securing the signature of the former Australian international for the 2021 season.

Inglis has reversed his decision to retire last year in order to pull on the famous primrose and blue shirt.

And Wolves supporters are already looking forward to seeing the ex-South Sydney Rabbitohs man in action at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Here’s what they’ve been saying on social media:

Warrington Casuals: “He may be 33, but it will be an honour to see an all-time great of RL playing here.”

Judith Hunt: “He is a superstar player if he is injury free, great signing and I'm sure he can still play at that level.”

Jean Savage: “Wow wow wow.”

Gareth Jamie Lloyd: “Absolutely class, keep him fit and he will be the difference maker. I also expect him to instil the winning culture from his exploits with the Bunnies in the NRL.”

Leanne Smith: “How the hell have we managed that?”

Philip Ashley: “April fools, surely? Absolutely unbelievable!”

Stuart Wilson: “Possibly the best Super League signing for years.”

Ian Williams: “Wow, that was out of the blue. He has no doubt been one if the best Aussie backs for years. He’s 33 so should have a year in him, but he has suffered with injury and poor form in recent seasons. Let’s hope he can have a stellar season. Bigger signing than Sonny Bill Williams for me.”

Steven Hogg: “This is up there with Andrews Johns’ signing, amazing.”

Wire stars past and present have also been getting excited about the capture:
