PEOPLE in Warrington are still ignoring government advice to stay at home by gathering for picnics in Penketh.
Police have had to disperse a large number of people near to the Ferry Tavern and will now be patrolling the area.
All residents should stay at home, apart from buying essential items such as food and medicine or travelling to work which cannot be done from home.
People are also permitted to go outside for one form of exercise per day and must comply with social distancing.
Penketh Police took to social media with a message for those still continuing to leave their homes.
It read: "This selfish behaviour is possibly putting lives and health at risk.
"We understand these can be challenging times for people, however if we all do our bit and stay in the sooner we can beat this."
