DESPITE being stuck inside, residents at Victoria House Care Home managed to enjoy a special Mother’s Day celebration.
Staff organised an afternoon tea party to keep spirits high at the Grappenhall-based home, with the spring sun shining.
Family members, although not able to come inside the home itself, came up to the windows to wish their mums and grandmas a happy Mother’s Day.
Families came with gifts, cards and posters for their loved ones who are being isolated due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Care staff said residents had an amazing day, but said it really hit home for those looking after them.
