A MAN was arrested after pooing outside a charity shop in the town centre on Friday night.

Police were called to Bank Street at around 6.15pm on March 6 after receiving reports of a disturbance.

It is believed that an offender ‘left the contents of his bowels’ outside the British Heart Foundation store before abusing officers who attended the scene.

Thomas Llewellyn, of Fitzwalter Road in Woolston, has since been charged with being drunk and disorderly in connection with the incident.

The 32-year-old is due to appear before Warrington Magistrates Court later this month, and has been released on unconditional bail until that date.
