PEOPLE using and living near M56 in Cheshire can find out more about motorway roadworks set to start in March.

Highways England is aiming to start work in the next two months to provide an extra carriageway lane as well as enhanced technology in each direction of the motorway between junction six at Hale and junction eight at Altrincham.

There will be public information exhibitions later this month which will give people information about the construction timetable.

More than 100,000 vehicles use the four mile stretch of motorway every day.
