A CYCLIST has warned residents about a section of the Trans Pennine Trail which has been hit by flooding.
The rider visited the section near to the Thelwall Viaduct carrying traffic over the M6.
He said: "The trail is very muddy, unsafe for families riding bikes and a part near the viaduct is flooded.
"At the flooded part I had to walk on the ledge and wheel my bike through the water on the return journey, I rode through it on my outward journey and got very wet feet as my pedals were submerged."
