A TWELVE-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Penketh this morning.
Police were called to Liverpool Road shortly after 8am today, Wednesday, after an accident involving a car and a cyclist near to the junction with Hadleigh Close.
The bike rider, a 12-year-old boy, was taken to hospital as precaution.
