A YOUNG Gulliver's World performer is hoping to bring home the prestigious Little Miss British Isles title.
Mia Carney-Washington, age 10, has been selected to take part in the national modelling competition this Sunday for the chance to win £1,000 and a modelling contract.
The youngster currently has a place on the Star Studios team at Gulliver’s World in Warrington, performing in pantomimes and shows.
A spokesperson for Gulliver's World said: "We would like to wish our young dancer Mia the best of luck in the Miss British Isles Competition.
"Mia has been involved in a number of pantomimes with us and is an inspiration to us all.
"Mia is a true star and we know she will shine bright throughout the competition.
"Good luck Mia, from Chloe, Darren and everyone here at Gulliver's World Star Studios."
The mini performer, who lives in Halton, is currently Little Miss Halton and has sponsorship from Miss Ellie Dancewear and Ragdollz, a clothing and beauty shop in Runcorn owned by Lucy Humphrey and her family.
Lucy holds the Miss Warrington title and has been someone for Mia to look up to.
Nicola, Mia's mum, said: "Lucy is a great role model for Mia offering her lots of support and advice and has given her the opportunity to be a young makeup model for their web page and they have done her makeup for recent competitions."
As well as modelling, Mia loves dancing, performing, gymnastics and dreams of becoming a vet when she is older.
