John Peters and Zak Lowe
A HIGH school student is taking a big leap during his GCSEs to raise money for St Rocco's Hospice.
Zak Lowe, a pupil at Birchwood High School, will take part in a skydive in Cumbria to fundraise instead of receiving presents for his birthday.
On June 9 with family friend John Peters, Zak will leap out of a plane for the hospice as St Rocco's is a place that is close to the family's heart.
The hospice looked after Zak's grandad Fred Wright and his aunty Kelly Lowe during their final days before they both sadly died.
Zak was touched as to how much the hospice went above and beyond to help both their patients and families.
