A FIRE broke out at Birchwood Shopping Centre in the early hours of this morning, Sunday.
Two fire engines were called to the Dewhurst Road centre at around 4.50am to put out a small blaze inside a supermarket.
But the fire, believed to have been caused by a light fitting, was already out when crews arrived.
Firefighters used water to cool the surrounding areas and dampen down.
