A QUACKING family day out fulfilled its promise of fun in the sun today on Easter Monday.
The ever popular Lymm Duck Race took place this afternoon with the ducks dropped at 12.30pm.
While the day will see a variety of stalls and rides in Lymm village centre, all raising money for good causes and opened from 10.30am.
Euan Madonald, chairman of Lymm and District Round Table, said: "Lymm Duck Race is a lot of hard work for the team that puts it together, but it is always great fun to see the village full of happy people cheering the ducks to the finish line.
"We always look forward to a celebratory pint afterwards and finding out how much we've raised for some great causes.
"Hopefully 2019 can beat all previous records again."
