CHAPELFORD children have said a fond farewell to one of their much-loved teaching assistants.
Christine Hepherd has retired after working for 31 years at Chapelford Village Primary School and Sycamore Lane Primary School.
She started helping out for two hours a week in her daughter’s class and has since worked with thousands of children over the past three decades.
Mrs Hepherd was joined by granddaughter Betsy Hepherd-Hall, aged five, at a special ceremony before the Easter break.
