FIVE new homes are set to be built at a stables in Orford.
An application for outline planning permission has been submitted to Warrington Borough Council in order to build the detached three-bedroom houses on land off Orford Road.
Grappenhall-based applicant Randle White Ltd's scheme also includes spaces for 10 cars.
Planning application documents stated: "The application seeks planning approval for a small, sustainable residential development in an existing residential neighbourhood.
"The proposed dwellings are commensurate with the scale and appearance of those properties which already exist immediately adjacent.

"In addition, we believe the proposed development can make a positive contribution to the area without adversely affecting the amenity of any neighbouring properties."
A consultation on the plans runs until Wednesday, May 1.
