A GROUP of fundraising firefighters in Warrington are gearing up for their second charity car wash in seven days.

Warrington’s annual car wash in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity took place at the fire station on Winwick Road on Sunday.

In a bid to raise more money for the charity, the station’s firefighters have decided to roll up their sleeves again this weekend for another day of car cleaning.

Anyone willing to have their car made spick and span for a good cause should take it along to the fire station between 11am and 4pm this Sunday.

Meanwhile firefighters in Lymm are hoping to swap buckets of water for buckets of cash this weekend.

They are getting ready to roll up their sleeves to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity with the first car wash event at Lymm Fire Station on Cliff Lane.

The fundraiser will take place on Sunday from 10am to 3pm.
