A MUM-OF-ONE who wanted to be more active around her toddler has revealed her amazing weight loss transformation after shedding 105lbs - equal to seven-and-a-half-stone.

Kelly McMillan, from Great Sankey, decided to re-join Weight Watchers after wanting to run around with her toddler son.

She said: "He was so full of energy and I was 30 years old feeling more like a 60-year-old!"

Kelly lost an incredible 75lb in the first year and when she went back to work full time, she maintained the weight loss for around two years.

Kelly, 37, added: "I was working away a lot and it took a fair bit of time for me to adjust.

"One day it just clicked that I had done 75 per cent of the job and I just needed to refocus.

"I think I thought I'd never be able to actually get to goal but as soon as I shifted my mindset it seemed really easy.

"I definitely chased the last pound or so for a good few weeks – no matter what I did it evaded me for weeks."

Michelle Garvin, Kelly's Weight Watcher's coach never gave up on her and Kelly says her belief 'made all the difference'.

Kelly now weighs 11 stone 5lb down from 18 stone 7.5lb.

She said: "I eventually got to my goal weight the last meeting before Christmas and it was such an amazing feeling.

"After getting to the goal, I lost another stone in six months ready for a holiday and I maintain between the two weights now.

"In almost three years I’ve never gone over my original goal weight.

"I’m working more towards fitness goals rather than numbers on the scales – although I do keep a close eye on where my weight is.

"I'm a helper at Michelle’s Saturday classes which is great for keeping me on track, but also for seeing other people succeed."

Her weight loss has not only improved her health but also boosted Kelly's self esteem.

Kelly added: "I have so many more pictures of me with my family - trying to find ones of me with Callum as a baby is a struggle, now I have hundreds of us, wherever we go – and always in a different dress or outfit.

"I eat more now too.

"We all eat better as a family and I'm far more active than I ever was.

"At nearly 40 I feel younger than I ever did in my 20s."
