FIREFIGHTERS were called to several reports of a fire at Great Sankey High School last night, Monday.
These were false alarms and crews soon discovered that the 'smoke' was in fact steam coming out of the boiler.

The firefighters arrived at the scene at around 9.30pm but assured residents the school was safe.
