THE South Stand at The Halliwell Jones Stadium will be sold out for The Wire's clash with Wigan Warriors, the club have confirmed.

The Guardian learned yesterday that ticket sales were approaching the 12,000 mark and now the club have announced there is limited availability in the North and East Stands as well as the North-East Corner.

Tickets have been made available for Wire fans in the West Stand - the end normally used by visiting supporters.

Hopes will be high of an attendance higher than the 13,089 people that watched Wolves' opening-day victory over Leeds Rhinos last month.

Friday's meeting will be the first between the sides since last year's Super League Grand Final, which Wigan won 12-4.

A public press conference with representatives from both sides was be held at Golden Square yesterday and the game is being marketed as 'Bad Blood.'

Tickets are still available in person at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, via the Warrington Wolves club website or over the phone.
