TEENAGERS were taken to hospital last night, Thursday, after being hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to the junction between Legh Street and Midland Way after an accident at 5.16pm.
It involved two 13-year-old boys who were hit by a black Ford Focus and suffered suspected broken legs.
Police attended the scene, while an air ambulance also landed on nearby Bank Park.
It was not needed however as the road ambulance crew were able to help.
The severity of injuries suffered in the accident is not yet confirmed.
