A TEENAGE boy has been talked down from the roof of a town centre bank.
Emergency services were called to Santander on Buttermarket Street shortly before 6am on Saturday, March 2, after receiving reports of concerns for a male’s safety.
Upon attending the scene, police officers found a 15-year-old boy on the roof of the premises.
They spent more than two hours attempting to talk the teenager down before he was taken to hospital at around 8am.
Eyewitness reported a heavy police presence in the town centre on Saturday morning, with the area cordoned off by officers.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service was also called to assist with the incident.
