A MAN has been found dead at a house in Hood Manor.
Cheshire Police received reports of concerns for the safety of a male at an address on Sycamore Lane shortly after 3.30pm yesterday, Sunday.
Officers attended the scene, but the man was later pronounced dead.
His next of kin have been informed, and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Several police cars were seen in the area yesterday afternoon, while an air ambulance also landed in the nearby Briarswood estate.
The force is now preparing a file for the coroner.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “At 3.34pm on Sunday, February 24, police received a report of a concern for the safety of a man at an address on Sycamore Lane.
“Officers attended to the scene and the man sadly died.
“His next of kin have been informed.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
