CREATIVE pupils have shown off their talents in a school art competition.
St Monica's primary school in Appleton asked its pupils to create art which reflected the values represented by their team houses- courage, hope, joy and faith.
Staff received more then 30 entries from across all age groups, using collages, models, painting, prints and photographs.
Annie Noone from year three was the overall winner whose collage of photographs showing joy was the favourite with the judges.
Runners up included Chola Mae Dakin with her model of a lion showing courage, Sienna Dobson with a painting to show faith and Aryan Ashish whose four part image depicted courage and faith.
The competition was part of the school's renewed emphasis on the arts.
