FIREFIGHTERS and other emergency services were called to a flat fire on Bridge Street last night, Monday.
At around 8.20pm, fire crews and police were alerted to a fire in a flat above Shenanigans.
Firefighters from Warrington, Stockton Heath, Penketh and Lymm attended the scene.
A person was rescued from the property.

Firefighters used a hose to extinguish the fire and a large fan to clear the smoke.
They were in attendance for around an hour and a half.
