A TOWN centre shop owner is looking forward to moving into the new market with her soft furnishings stall.
Christina Houghton has run Window Dreams on Palmyra Square for 14 years and also works at a base in Warrington Market.
Christina, 50, said: "I'm really excited about the new market – in retail you have to change if you want to survive.
"It is more convenient for the customer if you are in one place and in the market it is bright, cheerful and has a great atmosphere.
"We have drifted back over to the market and I'm here more full time but I still split my time between there and the Palmyra Square unit.
"The new market is going to be bigger and better for us and the prospect of having a shop on Bridge Street is exciting."
Christina has worked at the market since she was 15 years old as the Saturday girl.
Her shop on Palmyra Square remains open for business.
