A STEAKHOUSE and seafood restaurant with both a pan-Asian and Italian influence has opened its doors in Stockton Heath.

Harvey's has been launched by the team behind Mr Lau's in the London Road unit where Tom at 101 used to be.

Head chef Sebastian Polakowski, who previously worked in the Manchester food and drink scene, will be offering predominantly classic British dishes but with a twist.

Adamo Devoti, company director and former St Gregory's RC High School student, said: "Harvey’s was born out of a desire to deliver a Warrington restaurant with quality food. Sebastian has come from Living Ventures group and brings a wealth of experience from the likes of Australasia, Gusto and Artisan in Manchester.

"The menu is predominantly British, for example we do three roasts every Sunday. There’s a hint of pan-Asian with our belly pork pineapple curry and sea bass with Asian slaw.

"I think it’s safe to say we are probably the only independent pan-Asian restaurant in the country. And then there’s an Italian influence derived from my family roots with pollo Milanese and fritto misto. Our menu caters for all."

Adamo and partner Pamela Lau are also behind Mr Lau's dim sum restaurant, Emily's cocktail bar and Uncle Tony's Chinese Kitchen – all in Warrington town centre – and chose Stockton Heath for Harvey's because they fell in love with the venue.

"It’s upstairs in an exclusive loft-like setting just like Mr Lau's. It’s fresh and very clean cut," Adamo added.
