HOUSES in a new development of more than 180 properties in Stretton have gone on sale.

Construction on 180 three, four and five-bedroom homes on land bounded by Stretton Road and Pewterspear Road is now underway.

And houses on the Saviours Place and Kings Quarter developments can now be reserved, with prices starting at £259,995.

Show homes on the site are due to open in summer next year, with an event held to launch the sales on Saturday, December 1.

Michaela Lancaster, sales director at developer Barratt Homes, said: "We are pleased to have successfully launched our Kings Quarter and Saviours Place developments.

"Following the opening event, we have seen a high demand for these properties so I would urge anyone interested to come along to our new sales cabin and speak to our expert sales advisers to reserve their dream home."

Cllr Judith Wheeler told a Warrington Borough Council development management committee meeting earlier this year that the plans would affect resident ‘forever’.

A total of 54 affordable homes are planned on the site.
