SHE is known for turning up the heat on the small screen as a cast member of The Real Housewives of Cheshire.

But could reality TV star Ester Dee soon be whipping up a frenzy with her new restaurant in Lymm?

The Warrington Guardian understands that Ester, who shot to fame on the ITVBe series, is currently in talks to open a restaurant in the former Bowden’s Wine Bar and Tapas building on Bridgewater Street and renamed it Esteraunt.

The grade two listed building was put on the market earlier this year with an asking price of £550,000 as its owners Lyn and Dave Forshaw look forward to retirement.

Housed in a 350-year-old building, the property also boasts a private function room, a 24-seat balcony area and a two-bedroom owner’s accommodation.

In a notice posted on Bowden's Facebook page, the owners said: "We are closing Bowden's on October 13 as we are selling the building freehold.

"We are taking time out on our boat before we embark on new adventures.

"We would like to thank all our customers who have supported us over the years."

In the eighth series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, Ester, whose dad has a restaurant in Czech Republic, revealed her plans to open an eaterie in Cheshire.

According to reports, she had been looking to house her business venture in Wilmslow and Prestbury but it now appears that Lymm could be the village of choice for her new restaurant.

Ester joined the show – which follows the lives of a group of women living in affluent areas of Cheshire – in series five with her complicated love life subsequently hitting the headlines.

The Warrington Guardian has contacted Ester's management for a comment who declined to respond.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire continues at 10pm on Monday at ITVBe.
