PASSENGERS are being offered a seven-course festive lunch while sipping champagne in 1930s-style elegance on Britain’s most luxurious train.
Guests will wine and dine aboard the Northern Belle during a six-hour scenic trip from Warrington on December 21.
The train, hauled by a vintage locomotive, is described as Britain’s answer to the iconic Orient Express.
Passengers are greeted by liveried stewards before being shown to their tables set with crisp white linen, cut glass and fine china.
Guests are invited to dress appropriately for the train – jeans and trainers are definitely frowned upon.
The train sets out from Liverpool Lime Street at 11.30am on December 21, calling at Warrington at 12.15pm. It is scheduled to arrive back in Warrington at 5.15pm.
Tickets cost £260. For more details or to book visit northernbelle.co.uk or phone 0844 8404525.
