A KIND-HEARTED teenager and her mum have raised funds to help a mother-of-three spend her remaining time making memories.

Bethany Owen, 16, from Chapelford was moved by Lindsey Lewis's terminal cancer diagnosis.

The 41-year-old family friend received the devastating news that cancer had spread to her ribs and spine.

Bethany said: "All her family and friends have come together to raise as much money as we can to allow Lindsey to create some beautiful memories with her gorgeous family.

"There’s a Just Giving page that's been set up by Lindsey’s family, and during the past couple of days I have contacted many generous companies to see if any of them could help and donate a prize, voucher, gift card or anything at all I could raffle off and make more money for her.

"Myself and my mum spent Tuesday travelling from the different businesses collecting their donations and the response was unbelievable.

"We want to say a big thank you to each one of you!"

Businesses which donated to prizes include: Warrington Pets and Exotics, The Malting's, The Grill on the Square, Chapelford Farm, Toby Carvery, Harvester, The Butcher's Arms, Bombay 8, Red Lion/ Fuzzy Ed's, Stonemill, Nando's, The Seven Woods, You'll Pass driving tuition and The Trigger Pond.

Bethany added: "They are all the heart of Warrington but we’re not done yet.

"We are pleading for any other businesses that can give or donate us anything to raffle off for this amazing cause.

"Lindsey is a beautiful woman inside and out and didn’t deserve any of this.

"Any donations of any kind will be a huge help to our cause!"
