A STAR-studded charity dinner is set to raise money for the Warrington Wolves charitable foundation.

The foundation was created to provide life changing opportunities through sport, education, health and the arts and this event will help to celebrate the Warrington community.

The Village Hotel Club in Centre Park Square will welcome The Last Leg presenter, Adam Hills and Sky Sports presenter, Angela Powers on Saturday, October 27.

The dinner will focus on the community coming together to celebrate the work of the foundation, including the first-year design students of Priestley College, in Loushers Lane, who will be designing and creating centre pieces for the event.

Priestley BTEC Dance students will also treat guests to a performance.

Comedian Hills, said: "I am in awe of the amount of good work the Wolves foundation does throughout Warrington.

"I've seen first-hand the positive impact the foundation had while setting up the UK's first disability rugby league teams, both for learning and physical disabilities.

"Whether it's for people with disabilities, the elderly, children or for men's health - the Wolves foundation isn't just at the heart of the club, it's at the heart of the town."

General manager of Village Hotel Club in Warrington, Donn Timmons, said: “Village Hotel Club Warrington is dedicated to supporting our community and we are proud to be able to celebrate the work of the Warrington Wolves charitable foundation with this great event and hopefully raise lots of money for them as well."

Tickets for the dinner are still available and can be bought by visiting the Village Hotel Club website or calling 377540.
