A MAN has been charged with burglary following a break-in at a house on Chester Road.
Forty-six-year-old Gary Peake, of Tranmere, was due to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court today, Tuesday, in connection with the incident.
The property was ransacked on Wednesday, September 26, after a burglar broke in by smashing glass in the back door.
Jewellery and cash was stolen during the burglary.
Peake’s charge comes after police issued CCTV footage of a suspect boarding a Liverpool-bound train at Bank Quay station, in a bid to trace the assailant.
