A HIGH School pupil has taken to the catwalk again as part of The House of iKons at London Fashion Week as she travelled to the capital for a hectic, glamour-filled weekend.

Cerys Forrester, a year 10 pupil at Birchwood Community High School, walked in Milan Fashion Week in February and was asked to walk once more in London.

The 14-year-old took part in events supporting British talent in design over two days.

The House of iKons supports emerging fashion creatives, models and music artists giving them a platform to perform and exposure in London and internationally.

On September 15 a team of up-and-coming young models aged between seven and 14 undertook a series of fashion shoots to promote The House of iKons around London’s most popular tourist attractions.

The next day, Cerys appeared on the catwalk at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel as part of the House of iKons fashion show. The show attracted a huge following in the fashion world and press.

Cerys’ mum Vicki said: “Press from BBC World News to CBNC in America attended the show with more than 20 photographers at the event.

"This didn’t faze Cerys one little bit. We are extremely proud of her.”
