THOUSANDS turned out in the rain for the 2018 English Half Marathon this morning, Sunday.
Experienced runners and first-timers took on the route through Warrington finishing through the Town Hall gates.
And despite the poor weather, plenty of residents came out to cheer them on.
This is the English Half Marathon's 10th anniversary year.
A 5k and 10k race also took place.
