A ‘TEMPORARY’ car park in the town centre could be in use for another five years.
The Railway Club on Winwick Street was demolished in 2016 in order to make way for the car park, with permission originally granted for a temporary car park on the site for three years.
With this consent due to expire in March 2019, developer GE Ramsey Limited has applied for planning permission to continue the use of the site as a car park for an additional five years.
A consultation on the plans runs until Thursday, September 6.
