A SEX change defendant admitted three counts of shoplifting at Warrington Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Mark Brettle, formerly Mary Brettle, from Poplars Avenue, in Longford, stole goods including meat worth £83 from Tesco Extra in Orford Green and the Spa shop in Norris Green.
The 41-year-old old also admitted a charge of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.
During bail discussions the prosecution said a condition should be that he does not enter Tescos.
Gary Heaven, defending, said: "It might be better for the British consumer in many ways stayed out of Tesco, but I don't think that's likely to happen."
Sentencing was adjourned until 2pm on September 19.
