STOCKTON HEATH FESTIVAL >

Warrington Guardian: Organisers hope the sun will be out at this year's Stockton Heath Festival
The four-day celebration of music, comedy, drama and the arts takes place from Thursday, July 5 to Sunday, July 8.

CROFT CARNIVAL >

Warrington Guardian:

The biggest event of the year takes place in Croft on Saturday, July 7

The parade leaves the Plough in the village at 12pm on the day with the main events starting on the field at 1.15pm on the day.

Entry is £1.50 with a programme in advance or £2 if you pay on the day.

They are on sale in The Plough, The General Elliot and The Horseshoe pubs before the day.

The event is due to run until 4.30pm with plenty of stalls and entertainment to enjoy.

PENKETH CARNIVAL >

Warrington Guardian: Music and ice cream at Penketh Carnival

The parade is set to start at 11am at Penketh High School on Saturday, July 14.

The ‘Best of British’ theme encourages residents to dress-up in their favourite costumes which resemble all-things Great Britain. 

Last year, the sun shone over the carnival all day.

People can then enjoy free access to Greystone Rec after the summer fair.

STOCKTON HEATH WALKING DAY >

Warrington Guardian: Crowds gather for Stockton Heath Walking Day

One of the most popular days of the year in Stockton Heath as traffic stops for a celebration from the churches and schools of the village.

The walk starts with a short service on Alexandra Park from 2pm on Saturday, July 14

St Thomas' School then has a circus show on its grounds later in the afternoon

HOWLEY Carnival takes place on Saturday, July 14.
The event opens at 2pm by Joanne Williams, choir teacher at St Elphin's School.
She will crown the carnival queens and prince.

DISABILITY AWARENESS DAY >
Warrington Guardian: Disability Awareness Day marks 21st event with Olympic glow

It is the 27th edition of the popular festival at Walton Hall on Sunday, July 15

Celebrating the best of disability, it is the biggest event of its kind in Europe.

And it is all free with a park and ride running from the town centre

STRETTON WALKING DAY >

Warrington Guardian: Stretton Walking Day

The walk of witness starts at 12pm on Saturday, July 21

It is followed by the school fair at St Matthew's in the village from 1pm
