RESIDENTS are being urged to have their say on the preferred route for the High Speed Two (HS2) railway at public consultation events this week.
The controversial rail line is set to cut through Warrington from Agden near Lymm in the south and through to Culcheth and Rixton in the north.
At the events, HS2 representatives will be on hand to answer questions about a range of topics.
Members of the public can also see detailed plans on the routes which are being suggested, including full maps.
The first of the drop-in events takes place tomorrow, Friday, from 2pm to 8pm at Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Hall in Hollins Green.
The second on Monday from 2pm to 8pm at Culcheth Sports Centre, Charnock Road, Culcheth.
A session also runs on Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm at Lowton Social Club, on Newton Road, Lowton.
