EARLIER this month in Yester Years we looked at memories of the old speedway and greyhound track at Arpley Meadows.
Reader Mr Garratt, from Woolston, kindly got in touch to tell us his stories from attending the greyhound stadium.
Plenty of you got in touch to tell us your memories of the land, which was also home to Warrington Cricket Club in the 19th century.
Terry Eyres sent us this picture taken when the land was being developed for the current car park for Warrington Bank Quay station users.
This is a view from Slutchers Lane after terracing was revealed during the construction work.
We are still really keen to see any pictures of the stadium being in use before it shut.
