THOUSANDS of people travelled back in time to enjoy Lymm Transport Day on Sunday.
The traditional parade through the centre of the village started the event off before a flotilla of boats made their way along the Bridgewater Canal in the afternoon.

Visitors also watched a flypast by a spitfire before enjoying the wide range of events on the May Queen field.
